Screen Printing Questions1. What do we need to send for an art file?
We would require a vector file from either an adobe product (ai,eps file extension) or else a Corel product (cdr file extension). We can vectorize your art file for you if need be but there may be an art charge if this is required. 2. Why is there an extra color charge in my design to print on black shirts? When printing on a dark or black shirt it is required that a white underbase is printed so that any colors you have in your design will show up correctly. 3. Can you print a couple more shirts for us? We can but quite often with screen printing the cost involved is not the time it takes to print the shirts as this can be very minimal but it is the time it takes to setup the screens and line everything up. It will be considered a new job and priced accordingly. That being said there is always exceptions based on the complexity of the design. 4. Can we print 5 black, 5 white, 5 red? You can print almost whatever combination t-shirts you would like but if you would like to change the color of the ink you use on each t-shirt there is a small color change fee as we need to wash out the screens before printing the new color. 5. How is screen printing priced? Screen printing is solely based on how many colors your design has and what quantity you will be printing. Each color in your design requires an individual screen which is time consuming to prepare burn and set up. If you have more questions please feel free to send a question here. |
